About Us

We are a small kennel in South East Queensland and a registered breeder with the Canine Control Council (Queensland).
We are blessed to live in a beautiful acreage area on the northern outskirts of Brisbane.
(Plenty of room for the Furkids to run)

Although we are relatively new to the Neapolitan Mastiff breed, we are not new to the world of breeding and have been involved
with Dobermann and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels for many years. We have had a fascination with Neo's for decades, so after leaving
the Dobermann world behind we spent the next two years researching worldwide the magnificent breed of the Neapolitan Mastiff in detail.
It was only then we even considered purchasing one. It has proven very difficult to be accepted in the 'Neapolitan World'  particularly in
as a new comer, with many breeders being less than helpful when asked questions and even less helpful when you have a problem
and are looking for advice. We have learned very quickly there are some excellent breeders in this country who love the breed and
are working to improve the soundness, type and temperament of the dogs they breed and there are others who are not!

We have been fortunate to have found a few exceptional, like-minded breeders both here in Australia and in Europe as well as the US.
One of which we need to thank for their kindness, generosity and invaluable ongoing support day or night, 7 days a week.
Its rare you find people who share your passion and you know you can call on 24-7 for support.
From the bottom of our hearts we thank Leah and Scott Radley from Capolavoro Neapolitan Mastiffs in Karratha, Western Australia.
More recently, thank you to Maggiormente Neapolitan Mastiffs, Velluto Neapolitan Mastiffs and Wildchild Kennels (US) for their knowledge and advice.

One of the most important things we have learned with Mastini, is, we as responsible human beings and caretakers of this ancheint, magestic
breed MUST and WILL strive to preserve the integrity of this breed with knowledge, meticulous planning and invaluable advice from a
few outstanding breeders from around the world.

Today we are proud owners of this breed and we live with them all as an integral part of our family life, which is paramount to the Mastini
character and well being. This is not a breed to be popped in the back yard with minimal human interaction by an owner who has not done
their homework about the Neapolitan Mastiff.

We most certainly are not opposed to people wanting to own a Neo, but we will always make sure that the new owners have true understanding
of what is required to own one, as well as know the possible problems that can occur in this breed, of which there are many. Owning, caring and
financially committing to a Neapolitan is not something that should be done in hast, as they are like no other dogs we know.

SFIDANTE will always offer unconditional support not only to new owners of our pups but anyone who is genuinely interested in the breed.
We don't for a second profess or pretend to be experts and infact learn new things
about these dogs every single day.
If we can help someone we will, if we dont know we will endeavor to find out from someone far more knowledgable than us.
